    DOTP is a colorless to primrose yellow oily liquid insoluble to water but with good intermiscibility with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), is of plasticizing efficiency and volatility comparable to that of DOP. It is a primary plasticizing agent with better heat-resistance, ageing-resistance, cold-resistance, durability, migration-resistance, electrical properties and volatilization loss than DOP. This product is mainly used for goods with environmental-protection requirements and where phthalic acid ester plasticizing agent is not applicable, and may substitute DOP/DINP.
