DOP is a primary plasticizer which is used the most extensively, It has admirable compatibility with plenty of polymers. What's more, in addition to high plasticizing efficiency and low volatility, it has low temperature flexibility, extractability and toxicity, and fairly good electrical property. it is widely applied as plasticizer of resin and typically for the production of PVC sheet, thin film, artificial leather, wire dressing and so forth. In the case of nitrocellulose lacquer, DOP can improve the elasticity and tensile strength. Also, it's available as softener of butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber (BNR)
