DOS is an excellent cold-resistant plasticizing agent of high plasticizing efficiency and low volatility. It has excellent cold resistance, good heat resistance, light resistance and electric insulativity, is applicable for various kinds of resins such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), vinyl chloride copolymer, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, synthetic rubber, etc. This product is especially suitable for making cold-resistant wires and cables, leatheroid, film, planks, sheets, and so on. It is often used together with phthalic acid ester plasticizing agent. As a plasticizing agent used for synthetic rubber at low temperature, it has no effect on the vulcanization of rubber.
